Could anyone point me to the most current Staff mod that will work with RavenNuke/phpbb2 forums? I believe ClanThemes is using this mod here on the forums but I have found a few staff mods in thier club/downloads area and didn't want to pick one that hasn't been updated or not work.

I found one titled :Multiple Ranks with Staff and Online View but have read in another forum its for Nuke Evo and had old code and needed updated. This sounds like a good mod but I'm not a good coder just a good intructions follower and wouldn't know how to convert it.

not sure if this is the same one and its phpbb2 not a ported version but if you knwo what you are doing it wont be a problem to convert

I dont think it would be to hard to take the one that Nuke Evo runs and put it on RN. Its just a matter of a few files and like 7 small edits in other files. What i will do is take the one that gazj pointed out, (which is the one that comes with evo) and I will try putting it on a RN site. I will have to see if I still have my RN test site up, if not I may ask a friend to use his or if you want. I can use your site as my testing grounds and install it for you. I would just need FTP and use of an admin account.

Not sure if you would have the time or not but if or when you do this can you kind of explain the edits with comments as you do them or make an edited guide. I am trying to learn how to do these things on my own. So any guide ins helps when I can get it. That way I might be able to convert things on my own someday Angel

Hey i have had this already ported for some time now i guess i just over looked this post But here is the download link and a screenie.
If you have any problems doing the overall_header.tpl just post the code here in the [code]tags and i will help you edit it

No to set the colours of a group you need to install AUC and you add what ever person to that group

Ok I have the AUC installed and seems to be working as it should. The only thing I see missing is when I make the group titles; there not showing at the bottom of the forum index next to the Admin [orange] and Mod [green].

Is this yet again another mod to have this showing or just an edit not included in the AUC?

In the theme edits, did you edit your theme to have,

{colors.GROUPS}

at the bottom, probably after the

{TOTAL_USERS_ONLINE}

so it would look something like

It seems like the color group isn't getting the call to show up. I will track back in my edits while a wait for more ideas for this issue.

AUC's New Groups Not Showing Up on Forum Index Posted: Thu Oct 08, 2009 2:52 pm

I looked over the file edits and from what I can tell <--(Noob Coder) everything seems to be correct according to the instructions provided with the "Mod" downloaded from: PHPNuke SEO

I am running RN 2.4 with an AutoTheme. I was able to find all Code edits just fine. Only issue I had was the SQL update.

When uploading this SQL:

`group_name` varchar(255) NOT NULL default '',
`group_color` varchar(6) NOT NULL default '',
`group_weight` smallint(2) NOT NULL default '',
PRIMARY KEY (`group_id`)
) TYPE=MyISAM ;

ALTER TABLE nuke_users ADD user_color_gc VARCHAR(6) DEFAULT '';
ALTER TABLE nuke_users ADD user_color_gi TEXT DEFAULT NULL;

I was getting this error: #1067 - Invalid default value for 'group_weight'

So I put a # 0 in the default which makes it look like this:
