Its not too intensive would need to see what we are wroking from to tell you more.

Basically you would need a copy of nuke setup and then convert your phpbb database tables to the proper ones in nuke. All phpbb mods would need to be re-installed on your new nuke setup. Your users then need to be imported into the proper nuke table.

I also would like to know how this works.

I've just installed the new version of NukePHP and am thinking of buying a template theme. Whats the correct procedure? Do I install phpbb next and link it to nuke and then install the theme I want to buy?

Any links to how to integrate the two.

Ill be honest here, im not to sure what you are trying to acomplish.

Nuke comes with phpbb as standard and i dont know what phpbb2 is or the difrences ...

really... nuke comes with the forum phpbb?!?? I thought it had to be installed seperate :)

ok... so I see in the nuke admin center 'forums'. I click on that and it says 'This forum has no boards'. Then I click on forums in the admin center which is supposed to load ../forms/admin/index.php but mine just loads a blank screen nothing happens.

what am I missing here?

I also find it weird how when I signup as a normal user on my nukephp it comes up with some personalise home option on the frontpage? this is a bit different to what I've been using is this all normal?

Yeah that just means you have not added any forums to your board.

Goto forums admin( yoursite/modules/Forums/admin/index.php) and then on the left select Forum Admin/Management you can then set up your board there.

I have the file for phpbb2. Can I simply upload it to the forum folder to replace the old version? Or will this erase the users and such. I could really use the newer version simply because it gives the option to not let guests post. Bots have been killing my boards. The porn content is ticking me off!!

There's not an option to do that there. Aparrantly my theme was built around an older version of phpbb.
