So... i need a theme made for a clan... we are in alot of different First Person shooters....

I do not mean to jump infront of anyone but i need this made ASAP... so i am willing to pay (If i get m\ultiple requests then the person with most posts will get it).

We need an area up top where we can have out logo....

i have so much in my head... but i also dont want to have anything saying "This is by Nuke Evo" or anything like that in there... I have alot on my shoulders....

GAHHHHHHH

Theme Colors: Green/ Black/ Greys many tones....
Theme Style: First person Shooter (Please no characters)
Additions: I would like a "Servers" section where i can put in some HTML information that will have my servers listed...
I would also like a shout box...... and a "Scrim" box..... please help!!!

Well im sure you know we make the best phpnuke themes on the net, there is one other site that is getting very good.. but I think we still have the edge Wink

Moving on...

In relation to your HTML area we don't make your sites content we just make the themes graphics, so this would be your job (if you mean you want a "Server" button then that's fine.

I can make a "Shoutbox" for extra but im not sure what a "Scrim" box is

If you want a FPS theme but don't want no characters what do you want me to base it off ?

As for a quote... well when I tell people how long it takes to make a custom theme from start to finish they normally run a mile

Im not talking about using another theme ive already made and change a few images, im talking about a whole blank canvas and building everything and anything from scratch (which i do for all my designs)

It takes on average 10 - 14 days to make a new custom theme, if you just do a simple calculation of 10 - 14 x £35 a day (£35 a day for a coder/designer is dam cheap) you get £350 - £490 not including any "Shoutboxes" or "Scrim" these are classed as "Extras"

Now if you just a normal clan site, clan sites cant afford £350 - £490 but if your a business then the "Look" is everything and you have to speculate to accumulate.

if you just want a cheapo site then i suggest buying a theme from the shop and editing the header, its a lot lot cheaper.

Ill leave it with you, im not going to rave on how good we are, you can tell we make the best themes for PHPNuke just by looking around, and if a site can do it for less, I don't really care... they obviously don't code from scratch (meaning your getting someone else's theme) or value there time Wink

I also don't start any work until a 50% deposit is payed...

is 10-14 days so little? and like ped said all the images are made from scratch, And i thought that was a good price i have come across site's charging more for less work.

I honestly can tell you that its not easy. The most I get into designing is doing splash screens. I have thought about doing a theme, but the time and skill that goes into it is to much for me at this moment in time, I will just stick with working on blocks and modules for now.

As for the price that he charges, he is right, that is damn cheep and if you can find someone that will do it cheaper is taking another piece of work and working off it and not actually making it from scratch. If your looking for something cheaper, then your best bet is to buy one that is already made and changing the header and maybe a few other graphics.

Its fine i know clans wont pay the going rate, and im not prepared to make them for any less...

You can probably get them for a bit cheaper, but they wont be anywhere like my design quality or they will be using the same PSD template from a previous theme/template they designed.

I don't need to justify the hours it takes to make a theme or grovel for the work, to be honest I would rather NOT make custom themes because I have much more better things to do.

You also have to think about this....

A shop theme sells for £35 each sale, if you think that this site isn't going anywhere it can sell for a lifetime. If a theme sells just 10 times that's £350, and that's just 10 sales... Ive sold more than 10 Modern Warfare 2 themes in 3 days Kiss

So if you want a theme making now the price has just doubled to £700 - £890

dude if you think Ped is charing too much then go to templatemonster.com and see how much they will charge you for a custom theme/template! Devil

Dude trust me he is giving you a GREAT deal for EVERYTHING custom! Dude that means you can ask him to make a lot of things the way you want it to look like. Buttans, images, look, touch, feel, taste, eat (ok ima stop lol) but dude if you have the cash I would do it. If you do then I would think more about what you want to get that BEST decsription to give to Ped to what you want your theme to be like. Ped doesn't know what a scrim box is so your going to need to explain to him more of what you want and how you want it exactly. I know what a scrim box is though :P looks like this I think...
