im currently using the theme "timeless" and i have a calendar in the center block which is to bright, wondering if i can darkin it up a little?
i know its the theme because it changes when i change themes. just dont know where to go

question is pointed at noto or ped

Its probably using the themes bg colours. look for in theme.php

Code:

$bgcolor1
$bgcolor2

and so on try changing the colours.

changed bgcolor1 i got a black table then - put it to default,
changed bgcolor2 i got a black background and white table - default again,
every time i added my own color it didn't change.

hehe

it will be using the same styles as your forums styles

go to yoursite.com/themes/YOURTHEME/style/style.css

I suggest making a backup of the style.css BEFORE editing it.

open it in a good text editor and look for

row1
row2
row3 (might not be a row 3 depends on the designer)

these settings will correspond the the forums block (should do)

in a complex theme the styles can use images and bg colours combined, but if its a easy theme it will just be colours, google website colour chart for alternative colors...
