Hi,

I have read through this forum, and I did manage to fix the problem with getting youtube to work, so thanks for that help, but after much searching and reading here I am still having trouble getting the "quotes" to work in the forum of the PNC4.4 version using the BBCode Box 5.1.0. I have upgraded the forum to phpbb 2.0.23.

e.g. [quote="name"]what I want quoted[/quote] shows up just as I have typed it, there is no quote box. If I remove the ="name" the quote will work.

I have checked all the files several times to make sure I had done everything right, but still can't get it right.

Find

Code:

$message = addslashes($message);

On a new line after add

Code:

$message = str_replace('"', '\"', $message);

So final should look like

Code:

$message = addslashes($message);
$message = str_replace('"', '\"', $message);

Thanks for your quick reply.

I had already put that line in the functions_post.php after reading another post, but I deleted what I had added and put it exactly as you put it here and it still has not fixed the problem. Sad

Any other ideas ?

My only other suggestion is to talk with the PNC guys or search the raven nuke boards, because once upon a time it was based off RN distro.

Found the problem, it is in the functions_post.php this line:

$html_entities_match = array('#&(?!(\#[0-9]+;))#', '#<#', '#>#', '#"#');

I had to remove the last 2 ## so it looked like this:

$html_entities_match = array('#&(?!(\#[0-9]+;))#', '#<#', '#>#'');

Had to do the same thing in the modules/private_messages/index.php as well so quotes would work in Private Messages.
