i couldnt get to grips with it so i asked my webhosting company to install the Simple Subforums MOD the only one i can see on the link you gave me.they installed it but cant get it working either.

ok now i know ive been posting question after question but i really could do with help here if possible,id like to get clan members onto the new site asap but i cant till i get this subforum issue fixed.doing my head it thats its up and runing but left idle because of this.

Are you sure its not installed correctly? Or are you just trying to make a subforum wrong?

That shows how to make a sub forum. If that doesn't work, then you would need to go through all the files and double check there work.

Did your host install it for you ?

PHPNuke comes standard with PHPBB2 other wise called BBToNuke its a totally different version of phpbb and u cant just use any old phpbb2 mod, they have to be specific mods that will work on BBToNuke/PHPNuke

The sub forums mod is a tricky mod to install, and if your not okay with editing multiple .php files i would stay well clear...

You also cant just go using any other forums with PHPNuke, because the user account information is interacting as one.

I know you had a lot of trouble getting your theme installed, and judging by that, in my personal opinion your not ready to be installing the forums sub category mod/hack.

Im sure if you ask, some one will/could give you a quote to install it if you trusted them, please be aware if someone gives you a quote who is not Clan Themes staff, i cannot take no responsibility for there actions Wink
