Alright so I tried to install the X-Fire module and go to the install link, but for some reallyyyy weird reason it says I have been blocked from going to the next page of installtion. Like blocked as in blocked from my WEBSITE acording to what it says, but all i do is click back and I'm fine im not blocked from my website. I don't know what is wrong with it.

To be more vivid this is what it looks like when I go to the install link and click on "Install"

(image looks like crap, but I think you guys get the point :P)

Strange huh?

So It said in the install file

"If all goes well, delete the install-xfire.php file.

If not, you will have to manually query the nuke-sql.sql file."

So I went to my database in my control panel and ran the xfire.sql file.

It said it was succesful in creating the tables, but once I clicked on the Admin image for x-fire under modules I get this message

"Warning: mysql_numrows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/nwnetwa1/public_html/modules/XFire/admin/index.php on line 98"

What does that mean and what should I do?

Do you guys know how to fix it?

Hello

I tried the xfire module that you linked here.
I imported the sql file via phpmyadmin to the database without any errors. I uploaded the xfire folder to the modules folder and
uploaded the two block files into the blocks folder.

When I go to the Admin panel and click on modules everything is fine, but once I click on the xfire edit button or the activate button,
I get an ACCESS DENIED. The only way it goes away is if I delete the xfire folder and the two block files.
Im starting to think this module isnt for RN 2.30.01 or is it that I am doing something wrong ?

I want to try the other xfire module I got from this site too. Its called XFire_Modulev10

I was wondering should I drop the tables from my database first.
I found 2 of them: nuke_mpg_xfirecfg / nuke_mpg_xfires
Is it safe to do this and is there any more I should drop ?

Access Denied is a an easy error to fix. You just gotta take the initiative to fix it.

in modules/Xfire/admin/case.php

Find

Code:

if (!eregi("admin.php", $_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME'])) { die ("Access Denied"); }

Change To

Code:

if ( !defined('ADMIN_FILE') )
{
die ('Access Denied');
}

Same in links.php (not sure if this is used, but change it anyway.)
Same in links2.php
