Shop Purchases:
Light Multi Gaming Theme

Hello

I have a couple of questions, hoping someone will be able to help me.

I have an existing phpbb forum database that I want to keep.
So I was wondering if a theme purchased from here would work on a phpbb3 installation ?
Would the matching forum included with the theme still match ?
Or do the matching themes only work on phpbb2.x ?

If they dont work on phpBB3. I converted my database over to 3.0.5 but I have a backup that I can
go back to. The thing is that before I converted to 3.0.5, I had a really old version of phpbb.
It was version 2.0.11. Would anyone know where I can get an upgrade install say to 2.0.23 I believe it is, from version 2.0.11?

I want to make sure this will work before I convert the pbpbb database to nuke, because I want all member accounts to remain.

Thanks

It can't be used on phpbb3. You would need it converted over to work for phpbb3. I would say ask someone who knows how to convert them but they'll probably pass them out for free after they're done. PHPBB3 allows commercial themes to be given away. They don't care about copyrites but there own, phpbb.

All that bridge does is allow for phpbb3 to be bridged to your current site. It does not use your theme or even your existing nuke phpbb2 forums. You would need to change all links if you wanted all users to go there. IMHO is you're wasting time installing that. Might as well go with the stand alone phpbb as you're now thinking.

I have a couple commercial themes that were converted from nuke to phpbb3 but I never looked at the differences between the nuke vs phpbb3.

Like I said phpbb community doesn't care about commercial themes or it's designers. Meaning if you did give it to someone for converting don't be surprised if it is passed out free to anyone that wants it.
