Hello,

I am trying unsuccesfuly to integrate Pro Nuke Forms on my Nuke Evo Website. Yes I know it has not been ported for Evo. The problem is I can't get the Ioncube loader to install. I have enabled it thru my C-panel and manualy edited my php.ini file to no avail. If anyone has any experince with this program and how to install Ioncube it would greatly be appreciated.

Pro Nuke Forms was designed to work on all versions of Nuke. The hardest thing sometimes with Ioncube loader is finding the correct file path to it, sometimes its best to contact your host asking them what is the correct file path.

Another thing is and I know of a few host that have this. Where you have to have the php.ini in the public_html folder, but then requires you to put it in each folder leading up to the program that requires it.

Example: /public_html/modules/Clan_Roster/ Requires the Ioncube loader, then you would need 3 php.ini files, 1 in the public_html, the second in the Modules folder, and the third in the Clan_Roster folder.

Other then that, what Snype sent to you will also help. If it doesn't, you can contact your host and ask them to do it since you have trouble, 9 out of 10 times since you attempted and failed, they will help you.

Very easy the path is the same one you use for nuke sentinel. then from there add on /modules/PRO-Forms/admin/name of ioncube it wants in PRO-Forms/admin directory. Go look and copy paste the path from nuke sentinel. You can't miss it. It's the same path used when setting up ht and staccess. minus the .htaccess.

read this I explain. http://www.clanthemes.com/ftopicp-29529-application-module.html#29529

Check my php.ini file see if I got this right.

Code:
zend_extension_ts=/home/therdcla/public_html/evonuke/html/modules/PRO_Forms/admin/ioncube_loader_lin_5.2_ts.so[Zend]
zend_extension_manager.optimizer=/usr/local/Zend/lib/Optimizer-3.3.3
zend_extension_manager.optimizer_ts=/usr/local/Zend/lib/Optimizer_TS-3.3.3
zend_optimizer.version=3.3.3
zend_extension=/usr/local/Zend/lib/ZendExtensionManager.so
zend_extension_ts=/usr/local/Zend/lib/ZendExtensionManager_TS.so

And I have this file in ALL folders from public_html - PRO_Forms/admin

And I have ioncube_loader_lin_5.2_ts.so in PRO_Forms root and PRO_Forms/admin

Still I get the error when I run the Proforms Installer.

is there something im doing wrong?

Thanks for all the help!! I can usualy figure these things out!!

p.s my php.ini is being called from my public_html folder.

If that is what it told you that you needed ioncube_loader_lin_5.2_ts.so

then that's all that's needed. just this line.

Code:
zend_extension_ts = /home/therdcla/public_html/evonuke/html/modules/PRO_Forms/admin/ioncube_loader_lin_5.2_ts.so

You did upload that file to PRO-Forms and to PRO_Forms/admmin yes? also upload ioncube-encoded-file.php and ioncube-loader-helper.php to each directory as well.

Thanks to all the fine folks that helped me!!

If ioncube is installed then you shouldn't need any php.ini file for that module. Somewhere it's not being called right.

You many need it following the folder path as I said. all it sounds like they installed was the files, maybe put a php.ini file in the root, maybe not. But it sounds like the zend is not right, or the file path is incorrect.

If you want, i will take a look at it using a remote service. If your interested, then PM me with a messenger of a sort and we will go from there.

Sorry you shouldn't have used "zend_extension_ts=". It should have been "zend_extension=".

To be absolutely positive put a php.ini file in Pro_forms and another in the pro_forms/admin with just this in it.

Code:
zend_extension= ioncube_loader_lin_5.2_ts.so
Only reason you would need a ini file in each is due to the fact they have installed ioncube so you must tell the directory what loader is needed per directory.

Order in which php.ini's are called.
server
site root
directory

You must use php 5 as a language. If you're site is not using php 5 but it is installed on your server. You can force it to use php 5 by adding
Code:
AddHandler x-httpd-php5 .php
to your htaccess file.

To be honest this module is breaking the GPL as it is not allowed to be encoded as this is all open source community. He could however encoded the copyrites without breaking the GPL. To actually encode the entire thing is breaking the GPL agreement.

I feel It should be pointed out though that this module breaks the GPL and therefore should not be used or added to the download section. Even if it was commercial as he does have a commercial copy he could still not encode it under the GPL. All he could encode commercial or free would be the copyrites. He couldn't even attach a license check as that also breaks the GPL.

Halleluyah!!

Ok reinstalled Ioncube from my host and took the auto generated php.ini file from that install. They Installed Ioncube outside of my Public root which is what was screwing me up. I kept changing my php.ini to look for ioncube inside my public_root all the way up to the proforms folder.

So for me it was:

Code:
zend_extension=/home/therdcla/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin.so
zend_extension_ts=/home/therdcla/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_ts.so

I did have to place a copy of the autogenerated php.ini file in all folders leading to Pro_forms.

I could never get a manual install to work properly. If you use Hostmonster:

1. Install Ioncube from your php config in c-panel. It will place a php.ini.default file in your public_html. (the contents of the Ioncube folder installed will not look like the ioncube folder provided by the proforms install... Thats what also screwed me up!)
2. Rename the php.ini.default to php.ini and place it in the root path all the way to Pro_forms.

30 hrs of work to for a 5 min solution!! LOL

Several people said it "it was the path that was screwed up" and it was!!

Thanks again for everyones help!!
