Hi their,

Do not know if this is in the right place but here goes.

I have some mebers of our webpage and when they go to post on the forums they get "Invalid Session. Please resubmit the form." I have looked on RavenNuke and they said it was to do with the theme.

Could someone please clarify that this is not the case and is RavenNuke related.

Mostly you get this error when the cookie domain isn't filled in correctly.
Go the the forums administration, then go to configuration. Look for cookie settings and fill in the correct cookie domain. You can change the name as well. But I don't think it is neccesairy.

Many Thanks Untergang for your help, I looked and it was set to the default setting, unfortunatley I am a total noob with this kind of thing.

Snype many thanks for the advice but unfortunatly I did a search and did not really find what I was looking for due to lack of experiance in webpages. When searching on Raven Nuke it was tellign me their was a problem with the theme. Since I bought the theme from here I thought it best to ask about wether it is a theme problem or a RavenNuke problem and thanks for finding the links for me.

The error is due to a goofy upgrade the people over at phpbb added. God Only knows why but it's leaving a lot of php nukers wondering "WTF" is going on.

Typically to fix this issue fill out your cookie like this:
cookie domain: .website.com
cookie nane: website

Keep in mind the name of your website has to be the same in both locations. If you have a version that permistts you to clear the cache for your website, make sure you use this option. For those who don't set these settings before anyone registers or starts logging on your website.

Which I am guessing is the problem, he is just not sure on how to do it or is confused so I am waiting for him to get back to him so I can use a remote to fix it for him.

Have then clear thier cache and cookies. If they accepted the cookie from the bad config, they'll get the same error.

sometimes its fixed by opening the posting tpl from the forums default template and copying the full <form blah blah> to the effected themes tpl
