I have downloaded the Junior Admin:

And when I made the modifications to the /modules/forums/index.php , and I uploaded to the server, everything went white.

When I uploaded the default (unmodded) back, everything was fine, and junior admin was on the site. I tried giving people various permissions and when I went to test it, they had ALL permissions even though I only intended them to have 7.

Funny thing is,

I used this mod, no problems, on the same website, but here recently we got a new theme, and I had to reinstall everything, and now it won't work.

I uploaded an attachment of the unmodded files, and the instructions (in a .rar file). I am sending the same copy to one of my other members that I trust with coding.

If it doesn't get attached properly to this, you can download it at.

You need to turn on $display_errors in the config.php so you can see what the error is on that white page. That is the first place to start.

I looked in the /root/config.php and I do not see that line anywhere.

how about, debug = true. i'm not sure what you considered so hard about editing. you should have just checked your edits.

I appreciate you sending the completed files.

The problem still exists however.

I believe it is with the index.php file.

When I upload all those files the same thing happens, the admin panel just goes to a white screen.

When I load the original index file back up in there, it fixes it.

Junior admin works, but on my account I use for testing, it has full access. (only meant to have access to 7 modules.)

well i fixed it and it works fine on my test site and yes you was right about the index.php heres the download let me know if the file uploaded cause i just overwrote the ones in your rar file also make sure you install the SQL file

Thanks, that seemed to fix the admin panel.

Only problem I see so far, is a double entry in the admin panel. You can see them in the screen shot.

One of the tabs works, the other takes you to a page not found..

The screen shot on the left is the screen that my admins would see, and they have a double "Forum Admin" tab. The screen on the right is what I would see, and there is a double "AUC" tab. This is not a major problem, I am just happy that it works.

But if you know of any immediate fixes, I would like to know that as well.

well i look into this and i think i found the fix well it all shows up normal for me so hopefully it will for you, just back up your old index.php(modules/Forums/admin/index.php) first just incase you need to revert back to it
