Hi all

Sorry to ask what I think is a bit of a silly question, but will the clan templates work with php nuke 8.0?

The reason I ask it that I have never used php nuke before and have bought a template to use, but i cannot seem to get the theme working. The them was Multi-T3 Multi Gaming Theme template, and in the install it says 7.6 php nuke this si why its a silly question.

Should work just fine,
As for phpnuke 8.0 its not worth the time, your be wishing you had pick an other distro of Nuke very soon when u realise basic features are just not there..

i recommend Raven phpnuke your theme will also work with ravens.

I tried to install ravenNuke but kept getting an error.

"Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, support@"hostingcompany.com" and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log."

Unfirtunatley the webhosting compnay were unable to help me out so I think I will be using php nuke 7.6. Is their any other nuke distro other than php nuke and raven nuke.

I had the same problem, there is something in the .htaccess file which causes this error, try to delete the .htaccess file and see wheter it works.

That is what was causing the problem, no I have installed the application but cant seem to logon on with the admin user name and password, it seems the sercurity code is always wrong when entering.

I am going to see if I can get this fixed.

I suggest you use this .htaccess ( http://stuff.udesigns.be/htaccess.rar ). In the one you deleted, there were some things your server doesn't support. In this one they are removed and it should work now.

You can disable the security code if you want, that way you can access the admin and try to fix the security code later if you still want to use it :) You can disable it in the config.php.

Raven don't like any dashes ( - ) in the admin login name are you using any ? if so that's probably why its not logging u in.

Thanks Noto & Untergang for your help,

I have managed to get this working now but i cannot have the sercurtiy code on as it does nor recognise the code. (does not matter to me)

Thanks for the help in gettign this going, I had to delete the .htaccess file like Untergang said as this was causing me the problems, I am going to upload the link you supplied.

I turnt the sercurity code off as I do not think mthe server lies it.

By the way do you know how I get the menu working on the theme i bought. http://www.weekendsoldiers.co.uk

You must run while logged in as an admin:
weekendsoldiers.co.uk/theme_install.php <--- could be called something else.
Delete the file after your have installed it

Once your have installed that you will see a theme control panel in your admin section.
