Well i wanted to post this one here cause i want to hear peoples views on it so i can pass them back to the designer,

well here is a very nice theme from Notafinga from over at detailed-designs.com it was made as a default for the homepage of DD but was soon put up for sale due to the demand, Anyway people please tell us what you think of this theme and would you buy it? this designer was self taught in photoshop flash and html/Php like most others. Also any ideas for up comming themes are always welcome

I really like it for a 100% theme, probably one of the better ones out there to be honest.

Dont think I would put my credits (right click on the shoutbox) on the V2 flash shoutbox though, I know he probably created the skin/image for that particular V2 but not all the hard working coding it... nudge nudge say no more ! lol

The version I sell with my themes isn't the V2 but I kinda don't take credit for it though Wink

I also see that he has gone for a flash login type script... the only problem with those is if the admin has capcha enabled there kinda useless, because it wont log you in, just re-direct you to the login page again.

I don't think I would give the FULL PSD away either, people will buy it solely for that so they can remake new themes and even sell them, using his template as a base.. bad idea if he wants to make a business out of selling themes, but good if he's not to bothered about photoshop geeks borrowing/abusing it.

There isn't really anything bad to say about it, its a real nice clean sharp contrasting design, not entirety sure what people would use the design/theme for though... what site would you put that theme on ? only site I could think of would be a personal site or a downloads site ? no idea to be honest...

flash shout box i never noticed it to be honest but i know over at DD the flash code is based on a template if you like for any DD designers to use, also they only take credit for the flash work within the skin lol.

Flash login i like them i think they they make the site stand out a bit more, Me personally don't use capcha i hate it i think it is just time wasting and now adays even spam bots can get round them so i would be willing to sacrifice capcha for any nice looking theme lol

The PSD he aint giving the whole PSD out any one that des do that is mad and like you say lets others take credit and sell the theme or use it as a base the PSD's are the main parts of the theme that a user will want to change like the header, forum header, wholine and so on and they come with all the layers present, But i suppose ppl can still rip the layers if they are that sad lol

I personally would put the theme on any of my sites cause of all the eye candy on it and it would make your site stand out from the rest, But the theme was requested by gamers from cod 4 and 5 to crysis and allot of the other games, But like most things in life every thing boils down to personal preference.
