I am using Nuke evolution xtreme and the problem is that donors do not get posted like they should and I must manually add them. Does anyone know a better made block or one that will work on my site ?

This is the email from my hosting support.

This is an issue with the script itself. I have verified that the data is being posted back on the module at this time without an issue. Here are the logs for it. It seems you need to to review the code which inserts the data into the db again to fix the issue.

Hey tynamn. When a user makes a donation, then confirms it, are they clicking the link that is provided to them to send them back to the site. If memory serves me right, that is how ti records, once they click the link back to the site.

It normally does that using IPN (Instant Payment Notification). Users don't have to click on a link. But IPN has to be enabled in your paypal account.

This is a on going issue w/extreme. Sometimes mine would show the name and other times it wouldn't.After talking with my donors,the ones that didn't show in the module were the ones using IE browser. Just my findings. Dont Know

the donations module with Evo does not use the IPN, not like the one for RavenNuke/Nuke.

No matter what we do or try it wont work 100%. Sadly it doesn't use the IPN like Nuke Treasury or others.

I have posted months ago on their site but they seem to avoiding it or something. I don't know what would work with Xtreme.

Is there anything that yall know might that I can try ?

Hmm, then someone should make one that does use IPN :) , as far as I know it's the only way to make it fully work.

the one on Evo, after someone donates, it sends them to a page thanking them for the donation then it supplies a link back to your site, when you click that link, it inputs the information from the donation into the block so others can see.

DreAdeDcoRpSE I wish it was that easy. No matter what suggestions we try it wont work 100% and I believe I have tried everything. I am just looking for a new one but I dont know anything that would work for Xtreme.

well, I know extreme has a bunch of issues, and they have a new version coming out or it is out, not sure, but I would upgrade to it for that might address the problem.

Well If I allow it in the options to look at the cookies it works 50% of the time, but if I don't and rely on the correct way it does not work.

My site like many relies on donations and we do get a lot inbound so I am sure it doesn't work like yours sadly.

I will take as suggested and wait for the xtrem update and if still doesn't I will most likely switch back to raven or try out another.
