you use admin section and put them in a block, content, news, banners, use html.

not always it depends what version of nuke you run to be able to do it that way in some cases you need to add the codes in your config.php to allow [img] tags

open config.php and on this line as you can see i have added "img"=>2,

$AllowableHTML = array("b"=>1,"i"=>1,"strike"=>1,"div"=>2,"u"=>1,"a"=>2,"img"=>2,"em"=>1,"br"=>1,"strong"=>1,"blockquote"=>1,"tt"=>1,"li"=>1,"ol"=>1,"ul"=>1);

this will allow images on home page
