Hello,
My Clan is using your ETOG theme and PHP Nuke 8.0.
We got a new host and domain for site, so i did a fresh install of PHP 8.0
It has been awhile since i have done this and am a little bit rusty!
So here is my question I want to know why my flash embedding is not working in blocks.
I did remember that you have to edit the config.php here is what i have

$AllowableHTML = array("b"=>1,"i"=>1,"strike"=>1,"img"=>2,"swf"=>1,"embed"=>2,"param"=>2,"img src="=>2,"center"=>1,"href"=>2,"object"=>2,"div"=>2,"u"=>1,"a"=>2,"em"=>1,"br"=>1,"strong"=>1,"blockquote"=>1,"tt"=>1,"li"=>1,"ol"=>1,"ul"=>1);

Am i missing something? should "embed" 2 be "embed" 1? Anyways when i go to embed flash into a block it just shows up as text in the block
or just vanishes when i save block . I have tried everything and have been up all night trying to figure this out! Please don't laugh at my crap coding skills i even put "swf" in there just in case.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

wouldn't you just create a new block using html? <embed> embed here </embed> might want to put center tags around the embed tags.

Already tried that. I was very specific on the embed code i put in. I am thinking its something to do with permissions. thats why i posted what i put in the config.php $AllowableHTML

probably something to do with ver 8.0 most of the original versions after 7.6 have problems with adding flash content.

try this. replace the embed code to yours and save as " block-whateveruwant.php " and put in your block folder. then go activate it like u would any other normal block.

This is why old people fear change LOL! We "had" i believe 7.6 installed and when we got new domain i thought i would update the version thinking they would have made things easier by now and fixed all the bugs. I will try what you suggested and tell you what happened tonight. Thanks so much for the reply Noto.

Might wanna try the center tags around your embed tags as if i'm not mistaken it has to do with html purifier. I found that 9 times out of 10 that not putting center tags around the embed tags is the fault for it not displaying. I have no issues using flash in blocks unless I leave out the center tags.
