Shop Purchases:
Clan Roster 2.0 · Multi-T3 Multi Gaming Theme

I have a Multi-T3 theme and would like to know if there is a way to disable the "Register" link, so that new accounts can't be established. It would be nice to enable/disable this "register" link manually.

I did a search and did find a tutorial on this subject on your site:

Toggle user registrations on or off
Description: This mod will allow you to toggle on or off the ability of new users to register on your site.
Version: 1
Added on: 13 May 2007
Author: DBF_Tim

But it appears it may need to be updated? For example it asks to find this code: (modules/Your_Account/index.php)

if (!isset($hid)) { $hid = ""; }
if (!isset($url)) { $url = ""; }
if (!isset($bypass)) { $bypass = ""; }

But that code does not exist in that file. At least in mine.... Any ideas?

I'm using RavenNuke_v2.30.01

I was able to disable the "register" function by modifying userconfig.php as you mentioned. That worked thanks. But...

Looking a little deeper there is a much easier way to enable/disable this feature as Ped mentioned right from the admin.php "Edit User" interface. I was able to drill down to registration options and I discovered you can select:

Allow User Registration: Yes No
Use Email Activation?
(Only if server can send mail) Yes No
Require Admin Approval: Yes No

Very easy! So I'm all set. Thanks for responding and getting me on the right track.
