i did try with hotmail accound and other those work fine

anyone know what the problem could be?

Most likely just going to the spam folder or junk folder. It is unlikely that it gets filtered by platinum. If that was going to happen, why would it let them signup with one of those email services.

i made a new email accound from gmail (google mail)
and it is not working
i do not receive any activation mails
ofcause i did turn off filters on gmail
still not getting anything
and it works fine with hotmail.com

for some reasons it does not sent emails to some providars
most poeple who got .fr at end of there email adres are not receiving anything

have you tryed the upgrade patch for platinum B.4v2 to B.4v3?? this does fix alot of problems but at the same time causes some aswell. you are going to be fighting a loosing battle running platinum this problem will be the first in many

strange thing is i never had this problem in the pass

*edit*
i did upgrade to v3
did not solve anything

also i said with some email adresses
but there is only 1 email adress working to receive activation mail and that is with my email adress from my website providar
really stange!!

thanks i first talk with my host think the problems comes from there
because i did try the following thing

phpnuke has contact function
i did replace email adress from my hosts domain with any other gmail.com, hotmail.com
only 1 worked from the domain of my host.
