I recently started a site for a semi-new wow private server. My question is, I'm using the points system and I want to be able to have a shop that users can spend their points in and have the items sent to them ingame. Is this possible or is there already some kind of module out there already? I tried using the shop mod but something went wrong. I try to delete a test catagory I created and I get errors and it won't delete. I'd like to have something simple with pics of the ingame items, etc... Any help would be great :)

I also want something like what you said, the better, I want a system of points equal to the site used here, with the virtual store, forum and everything.
I was at home trying to mount a similar, using the Standard and NukeGroups Emporium, but nothing is easy, because the scoring system does not work, he sets up the points, but there is no way to use it.
I will be waiting with you the same question!

shop mod is all i know of for evo.

back up your database first

go to your database and delete that forum table that you can't delete. just that specific table meaning you'll have to browse to see it.
DO NOT DELETE THE ENTIRE FORUM TABLE.

You need to wait until Ped, Floppy, Baylor, or Corpse responds.

The shoping Mod is a good idea, but I'm thinking it's really not what you want.

I've never added a point system like they have here and I'm sure it'll be a task to add, however, wait for these guys to respond before adding anything.

shop mod is the only shopping module that actually works correctly with evo.

point system is easy. doesn't extreme already have the points system in place? he has the cash system in place which is better then the points mod.

always back up files before adding anything.

what i do is look at the mod or module then download those particular files that need edited to my comp. then make a copy of them and edit one set and upload those. reason being it easier to upload the old files then to look for a mistake i may have made should something go wrong.

you should always make a back up copy of your database even when you haven't altered anything. you'll never know when it will come in handy.

if i am just making new tables then i don't bother making a backup as i know what tables i added and can remove those new ones. that's just me though. if you're new, then i suggest always make a back up copy.
