Could be a simple one here... I tried a few month ago to get the lightbox to work with the random images download here: http://www.clanthemes.com/club-download-file-75-clan-themes-random-image-v2.html

I think it would be so much better for this nice little block to use the lightbox instead of its new page approach... Much more pr0

I know this may not be possible but you know the BB Code Box MOD for the forums... Would it be possible for when a member add's an image the image is then displayed in the lightbox? I have the image resizer (makes the image smaller, needing to be clicked to enlarge) but I think a thumbnail would be better to be displayed in the post and then text under the thumbnail stating click to show full image, which then uses the lightbox to show the full image.

I know it's a big ask and have got the lightbox working with random images so perhaps it could be just a matter of code addition to the BBCode Box code?

I would like to do this one myself as I am trying to get back to doing Nuke modding once again but need some help as I have been busy working IRL and sorta forgot most of the stuff I knew way back in 2007... Damn I been on this site a loooooong time LOL

Where's Scorpion any way? I thought he was doing the game info modules... I been waiting a year for the EVE one LOL damn I hope he aint still working on it hahahahaha LMAO

what I did to get the lightbox effect in my forums as I went into the file

themes/Your Theme/forums/bbcode.tpl

and found the image code for the BBcode and implemented it that way. I don't remember exactly remember how it looked before I did the code changes but I think it looks something like

<img src="{URL}" border="0" />

and what I did was edit it to look like this.

<a href="{URL}" rel="lightbox"><img width="45%" src="{URL}" border="0" alt="" /></a>

I am not sure how RavenNuke has it set up but this is the way I have it on my Evo site. You would just need to the edit's I mentioned in the Using the Light box Effect on your site in other area's.txt file that I had included in the Random_image blocks I added the lightbox to.

OK rgr rgr I will have a look when I get up, I just think this sort of showing an image make a site look pr0 and should defo be a option for RN's next release.

Aye i had a go at getting this to work, added the code to where it was meant to be but all it does is open the image in a new page Sad

Have you done the edits that I mentioned in the .txt file where I mentioned opening the header.php and adding in those 4 lines of coding.

If so, then try using this for the code in the BBcode.tpl

Looks like that javascript was resizing it. I think I might install a fresh install of RN in a sub directory on my site so I can better research this and maybe write up a tutorial to get this going.

Yep I done all the required edits to the header.php but i think its just this bit in the .tpl I think this is as far as i got the last time i tried to do this with the forums image thing. I know i got to a point and just gave up with it coz i was just gonna end up smashing my monitor LMAO
