Hello..I dont know what i did wrong,after adding the enhanced download module, everything is messed up in the download section of the site. I can't add new categories,or new downloads. Please help me to get it back to how it was before. I think some sql tables are missing..I'm running EVO 2.0.7 basic

This is how it looks now in the acp. I really do not want to re-install everything. Sad

looks like something was not added to the language file. either the language or the admin language file.

You were right,but the language file didn't help either. Now i just deleted everything related to the enhanced download module and uploaded the original ones from my evo download folder, but still im not able to either add any download or to add categories..
So im guessing this a sql issue?

If you didn't delete the downloads mod added to the nuke originally, what you've done is added files over files, and you probably was asked to keep or overwrite, inwhich you said to overwrite.

Go back in to your rood and delete the entire downloads folder, next to into your database and delete the original downloads sql related strings. Once you've done that, again add your Enhanced Downloads, this should fix your problems. I made this same mistake when E.D. was first released. This is what I did to resolve the problem.

I can't read or see very well the info on the pics you posted, so I'm guessing this is the same issue.

Thanks,that made me get a bit further. I got the ED showing in the ACP now but something is still not right. I feel like a pilot on a 747 with a major engine failure...I'm beyond recovery i think. Confused

Firstly,i still cannot make any categories because they are not saved. And the general settings for the ED will not save either. If you look at this picture it seems that i've missing some language files again,but they're all there.

Secondly,i got a whole bunch of errors when i installed it. If anyone are up for the task,i'd be happy to pay for someone to do this for me..

Ive never actually installed it onto evo... don't forget this downloads mod is getting on now... 3+ years old.

I suggest trying it out.. i think i got errors on the DB tables as well, but it still worked

Thanks. I never noticed this module was so old tbh. But i'm gonna try a little and see if i can make it work somehow.. But i couldn't even get the original tables to work after i deleted the ED the first time.Same problem as now,when i create categories or add a download,it wont save. So if it doesn't work then i guess we will have to do without a DL section.

I could actually do with some help on this module too... I installed it and added all the fixes etc etc but get this error in the admin on a white screen:

well it aint mine lol it is moddded by the guys from xtreme and is still in beta but i used it for 2 months and never got one error, the only problem i could find is that i have only tested this on xtreme (works great) and latest RN( alot of issues needs porting i think) i will have ago at trying it again and seeing if i can fix it then add it to the downloads bud

BTW I think this module (On CT Downloads) needs to be looked at by Ped or Floppy for compatibility with RN 2.30 because I know for a fact it worked fine with RN 2.20

I would do but when it comes to SQL stuff I go blank headed and start wanting to break my monitor :s
