I've been using GIMP for a few days now and have been figuring out some stuff, I made my sig and I think it looks alright but I was wondering if I get get some pointers on anything related to my sig.

no need to leave sarcastic comments lol no one can reply to a post straight away, but i think maybe play around with gimp abit more there is alot more to offer in the software also it looks to me as if you are going for a 3d affect with the character so maybe make it look like it is coming out the sig, so do the gun so it is out side the sig if you no what i mean? but sure one of the other graphics masters here will give you some better pointers

With the Gun coming of the sig, do you mean like have a transperant layer underneath so it look like he's off the background?

Its only the render with my username and some blood but is that what u mean but with some sort of background behind it?

Actually now that I look at it, I'd need to change the font obviously if I want to use it here and it would be better if the render was him in full so it didn't show when it ended.

shadow yea i meant something like your last 2 images they are getting better! but you really cant expect to get good in days or months most of my friends are designers and some of them have been doing it for 11 years one is 26 and has been playing with photoshop since he was 11 but all his hard work payed off he is a great designer now and you can see his work in nuke evolution and platinum B3,

tim that is good and spot on what i meant lol
