Hiya folks

I need a guide howto make a good backup of php nuke (raven in this case) and of the database.

if you have one or you can explain how i can do this in a smart way so i really get all i need it would be great

backup the database is easy in your admin panel phpnuke

anyway if you got a good website providar they deliver something like a direct admin panel/control panel
where you can manage your website
with links like phpmyadmin,email accound, install modules, mysql management, ftp
and also Create/Restore Backups
there you can backup your ftp,database,email accounds, website data
if all files are lost you can restore with with 1 single click

this way you are always safe

yea i back mine up using cpanel then click "backup" i back the database then the home directory and sometimes the emails but i do this twice a week allways good just incase you get hacked or database gets corrupted then you have a databse that aint weeks old

ok, well in ravenNuke 2.3 the option backup db is
removed cause of bugs (atlest what it says when click it)

and i host my site on own server, i guess i just have to learn how to
use like phpMyadmin or something for the db =)
