on the database config

do i

point it to my main site database

or do i set up a new data base???

I believe the way they designed it, is to point to your main site.

I don't know how many times I had stressed this to people, but I will do it again. Do not use vWar, even there developers are saying not to use there product until they come out with there new release, 1.7.0 which should be soon.

That's the post where they say not to use it.

The reason I do stress not to use it is for it is VERY UNSECURED. Meaning that hackers have easy access into your site. I know, I ran it for several months and I did all the security updates and everything I could think of and they still got in and caused a HUGE headache. So to spare people that problem, I will tell people to just wait for the 1.7.0 release.

I used to setup a seperate database just for vWar.

Always used to get hacked though back in the day !

You cant go far wrong with Floppys Clan Roster and soon to be Clan Matches. Dont Know
