how can i stop this i cannot find any setting for user activation

You need to set your url under the admin preferences panel.

I have 2 video tutorials on how to install Nuke Evo. There are people that would do it for you if you don't know how, (they usually charge per hour or by the job.). I just hope you understand that if you continue using it, you are playing with matches in a gas soaked room.

I just registered on your site with no problems. A few reasons this might be happening, either they are not activating there account from the email that is sent to them, or they are typing in the wrong information. Have them delete there cookies, clear there cache, and click on the activation link found in there email. If they did not get the email, then have them check there spam mail or re-register with a valid email address, You don't know how many times people put in a fake email address.

But you can also manually activate your users, In your ACP, I think on 7.0 you have a link for Your Account, also I think you may want to look in the config, also found in the ACP. But like I said, I really don't remember 7.9 functions since I left it last year and upgraded to Evo.
