Shop Purchases:
Enemy Territory Theme (Aviator) for PHP Nuke · Clan Roster 2.0 ·  · Modern Warfare 3 Xtreme Theme

what do you mean by, "edit it"¿ Are you talking about having like a admin button in the ACP where you can input information and save it and have it displayed in a block or a module, if so, that would be going into writing up php code to put and gather from your database.

Shop Purchases:
Clan Roster 2.0 · Multi Gaming (Warrior) Evo Theme · COD6 ModernWarfare 2 Teaser Splash Screen · Left for Dead Evo Extreme Version

Find the admin that is already created and figure out how it works. If you can't figure that out, then you probably shouldn't be messing with it all.

i have never seen a tutorial on that would think it would be to long and take a long time to cover it all and you need to understand how to make sql tables and code in PHP if you dont know this already? i serously would just sugest making a module from html then using Easy HTML To Any Script Converter to convert it to php just my input though maybe some one knows where a good tutorial is?

The best way to learn php is through trial and error. When you get to a point where you are stuck, then let me know.

Ok, i think I am starting to get JUST A LITTLE of this. Sql files are the things in your database right? And you have to make a php code to activate these 'Sql' files right? And in the module to get it to appear in the Admin Panel you have to have the Admin folder in the module with the php codes of the things you want to edit, and an admin.php file in the root of that module that activates the admin folder stuff right? And then you have to have the image uploaded and something called a Thumb.db and then the picture? Am i on the right track?

No, A SQL file is the database file system that databases use to run the website. Normally, if you run the script in your PHPMYADMIN, it will install all of the content, structure, menu systems, and forms into your database. Basically it is just a txt file that has all the information and structure that is required by the database to create the appropriate tables for nuke to store the information that your module uses.

As for the file structure, the module files go in the modules folder, images can be in any folder structure you create, either in the module, or using the base images folder create by your nuke. the admin files for the modules would go into admin/modules/ folder, ect...

for the php and html coding, the HTML will cover most of the look where php will control many of the features, as in putting information into the database and retrieving the information from the database.

Like Floppy said, grab a module that has the admin controls and dissect it while playing with it on your site, if you can follow the coding and see the form and function of the module then you will be able to move on and try one for your self.

If you have questions, just ask and I am sure someone will help. More and likely Floppy.
