Post News Module Posted: Thu Feb 26, 2009 2:01 pm

Hey guys,

I have posted a new post in my news module, and with the html editor I have added a link with the following code:
Code:
<a href="http://www.teamfortress.com/scoutupdate/images/05_top.jpg" rel="lightbox" title="The Force-A-Nature"><img height="551" width="410" border="0" src="http://www.teamfortress.com/scoutupdate/images/05_top.jpg" /></a>

But in the end, the code that is displayer is:
Code:
<a href="http://www.teamfortress.com/scoutupdate/images/05_top.jpg"><img height="551" width="410" border="0" src="http://www.teamfortress.com/scoutupdate/images/05_top.jpg" /></a>

So this part is missing in the a tag:
Code:
 rel="lightbox" title="The Force-A-Nature"

How do I fix this?

Shop Purchases:
Clan Roster 2.0 · Bad Company 2 Vietnam Xtreme Theme

I think the tags for HTML are in the config.php in the root of your site, for security they are probably removed by default

if you open up config.php and find
Code:
$AllowableHTML = array

you will see
Code:
('b'=>1,'i'=>1,'u'=>1,'div'=>2,'a'=>2,'em'=>1,'br'=>1,'strong'=>1,'blockquote'=>1,'tt'=>1,'li'=>1,'ol'=>1,'ul'=>1);

depending on which version of nuke you have, i guess you will have to add title and rel to them manually both will be the value of 1

Lets try that and see if it works first.

By seeing this code, I remember this tutorial.

By following that, you can see if you want to make the title and rel available, you have to set a tag to 2.
Now, I've opened my config file and I found the line, but the a tag was already set to 2:
Code:
$AllowableHTML = array("img"=>2,"tr"=>1,"td"=>2,"table"=>2,"div"=>2,"p"=>2,"hr"=>1,"b"=>1,"i"=>1,"strike"=>1,"u"=>1,"font"=>2,"a"=>2,"em"=>1,"br"=>1,"strong"=>1,"blockquote"=>1,"tt"=>1,"li"=>1,"ol"=>1,"ul"=>1,"center"=>1);

As you advised I added the rel and the title to the array, but it didn't work...

Its the filter function which removes those things.
Open mainfile.php and look for
Code:
function check_html

Then look for the line
Code:
$str = eregi_replace("<a[^>]*href[[:space:]]*=[[:space:]]*\"?[[:space:]]*([^\" >]*)[[:space:]]*\"?[^>]*>",'<a href="\\1">', $str);

and replace it with
Code:
//$str = eregi_replace("<a[^>]*href[[:space:]]*=[[:space:]]*\"?[[:space:]]*([^\" >]*)[[:space:]]*\"?[^>]*>",'<a href="\\1">', $str);

As explained in the note underneath that line, it removes everything from the a tag except the href atribute and by putting // in front if it, it won't do that anymore :)

Shop Purchases:
Enemy Territory Theme (Aviator) for PHP Nuke · Clan Roster 2.0 ·  · Modern Warfare 3 Xtreme Theme

I know I had trouble with this, If I remember correctly, I did something like this.

Code:
<a href="images/IMAGE.png" rel="lightbox[MOD]"><img width="30%" src="images/IMAGE.png"></a>

If that doesn't work, the try this

Code:
<a rel="lightbox[MOD]" href="images/IMAGE.png"><img width="30%" src="images/IMAGE.png"></a>

Other then that, the only way I think I would be able to get this is to actually be working on your site to get it. But I did get it on my old RN site and Nuke 7.9 site. and now I do have it working on my Evo site. I am pretty sure I have to put the "rel"=>2 into the array. If you like me to help you 1 on 1 with this if none of these suggestions work, contact me on messenger and I will need FTP and admin access.
