hi guys. i have taken advantage of my points and downloaded the forum center block however i noticed when i activate it that it pushes my homepage outwards leaving the header to narrow. i altered the size of the header to suit but when i go into the forum the header is then to big. sigh!
is there a way i could simply reduce the size of the forum center block table to prevent this from happening. it would be great if it was the same size as the shout box.

The table in the block uses a width of 100% so it must be the contents inside the block stretching it out, maybe a long line or text or someting.
You can try making the table a static size. open the block file and look for.

just under that u can see the table, change the size to fit your needs.

thanks for the tip, it was text but it was the usernames of the top 5 posters so i reduced it to 4 and all aligned. brilliant.. many thanks

and for those who need to know for themselves it on line 117 of the Block_Forum_Center.php

FIND
Code:
 $result=sql_query("SELECT user_id, username, user_posts, user_avatar FROM ".$user_prefix."_users ORDER BY user_posts DESC LIMIT 0,5", $dbi);


AND REPLACE WITH

Code:
 $result=sql_query("SELECT user_id, username, user_posts, user_avatar FROM ".$user_prefix."_users ORDER BY user_posts DESC LIMIT 0,4", $dbi);


CHANGE THE VALUE 0,5 TO 0,4.

Yea The center Block is pushing it outward so you can either alter the center block to narrow it or the Logo itself can be redone.
