Creative nuke ccms question about themes! Posted: Mon Dec 22, 2008 11:09 pm

Hello,
I have a question about Creative Nuke CCMS will the theme Zone Copper work with this (or any PhpNuke Theme). What I gather is this is just a PhpNuke install with a lot of mods that come with it based on PhpNuke 7.6. Am I correct? Please let me know. Oh and I'm loving this site BTW as soon as I get my site running I'm gonna Put a link on my site pointing to here to show my support cause you guys deserve it. Keep up the good work.

If I remember correctly, Creative Nuke stopped providing support and the project was stopped. I recommend going with Nuke Evolution, (which is game based and modded), or Raven Nuke, (very secure and well rounded CMS). Either one is supported and very secure. As for themes on the latest release of Raven Nuke. I don't know if they are more like Evolution, but earlier versions of RavenNuke I know would run Nuke themes, just not sure on this latest one.

coRpSE is right, Creative Nuke was based of standard Nuke, but because of all the forums mods no themes other than what they made could be used.

It was a bad move from the start, I can see what they were trying to do, add loads of mods pre installed, but uses will eventually realize that there sites all look the same and want some individuality which couldn't be achieved because there was only 3 themes for it !!

If your after mods, I would go with Nuke Evolution and install the Mods Pack..

Do you have the links for the Mods Pack coRpSE ?

Perhaps we could start up a downloads area for just Evo Nuke ?

Evolution CMS download comes with a mod pack in there so you can install what you want and not all of them. Evolution comes with a bunch of mods on it that I have found all very useful. I have been altering the mods that I have on my site, along the mods I have created to work with Evolution. I can probably pack up some of the mods that I have modified to work on Evo. If we do set up a section in the downloads, I can put what I have in there. Its not much, but since Evo seems to be everywhere I look, it might be a good idea to have one.

I can also take the mod pack and individually pack the files into zip files so if people want them, they can get them from here.

Ped, you know if the Latest RavenNuke install is using modules like Evo, or did they stick with it working with normal Nuke style?
