hey guys., ive recently isntalled the clankit recruiting form form here.
ive edit the files needed to be edited..
i click the module all is fine, for a test i placed in my info as if i was gonna apply for the commmunity, hit send get no error's
Click the Back link to go back everthing is fine. so i go check my email where i send the information to and its coming up completly Blank.. this is my apply.php cfg:

i get all the info back in the email.. but what i typed in as my name gamername etc etc is completly Blank..
also in the download i got there was a cgi-bin folder with nowt in it? why is was this?

There are better modules out there now for use as a recruitment form. If I remember right, your using a OLD module and probably needs to be revamped and updated.

I personally recommend using the Pro Nuke Forms and have it post straight to any forum of your choosing so you don't have to just rely on your email coming to you. You can set the forums to private so nobody but who you want to see it will be able to see the app's.

I would use Pro Nuke Forms as well

I just love that it posts in the forums (I always told it to post in a private recruiting forums area so admins could discuss the application in private)

Wasn't there one called Member Application as well, that had a scrolling block with application accepted or denied that did the same ?

The Clan Kit Recruitment probably uses old code and needs updating

My first guess would be very old code and also poorly coded in some parts as it is missing out ( " ) on some links it uses the shorthand php tags (think thats what they are called lol) <? ?>.

But if any one still wants to use this then you will be able to soon as i am re writting it from scratch it is full css no tables and xhtml compliant and looks really slick i will post the download later today when i finish the php part of the script

Ok this is the one i have made nothing complex but it works on ravennuke(tm) nuke-evolution and xtreme and most of all it sends the email to the specified email address.

I still prefer the posting to the forums, instead of relying on the Email to actually go through, but what ever floats your boat I guess. at least the code is not updated. Nice work. Now I have to find something to do, nobody is asking for help in the areas I can help and I have no more suggestions coming to me about the DL module. All I have done since the last release was 2 upgrades that people can add them selves.

I prefer pro forms but i guess some users like to keep it simple.

I feel for you on the boredom part that is one reason why i done that module and to get me away from the books i have been reading but back to the books now Sad
