They receive the activation e-mail but when they click and try to log in it says user name not in database. If they try to re-register it says e-mail already in use.
I look from admin side and can only see admin as the only user.

Built a phpnuke site along time ago and never had this problem.

It may help if you posted what version of nuke ect you are using. I suspect the latest version of Raven Nuke, if so im sure there is a thred on this somewhere. I think it has something to do with the characters they are using. ? i will look around for you.

version 8.0 stay away m8, if your sites is just up and u can afford to do a clean install then go for Ravens distro. You can grab it here, RavenNuke[tm] Version 2.30.00

yep RN v2.30 is so much better than nuke 8.0.

Highly secure, easy to set-up and manage and one of the fastest nuke's available.

Nuke 8.0 - 4/10 Devil

Would I have to do a uninstall v8 then install Raven? Can I use the blocks and modules from on here with Raven?

And what about Themes would the I be able to use ones of this site?

No, You would need to do a Database downgrade to Nuke version 7.6 then they have the edits that will need to be done.

RavenNuke is one of 2 distros I Recommend. Evolution is the other. But any help you need we are willing to help out as much as we can.

I have found RN 2.30 much easier to get up and going than even 2.20 and with the addition on RNCNBYA or in other terms CNBYA 5.0 it makes for administration of your site membership so much easier!

What would of taken me at least 2 weeks wih RN 2.20 I have done in a week with RN2.30.

The security is immense too, I have had a test site running for the last 3 weeks and basically i have had atleast 10 - 15 sql injection attempts (notice i say attempts) to get the site to crash / fail / go tits up

All of which were stopped by sentinel and have been perma blocked.

I must say even from RN2.20 you can see a major difference in the operation and functionality of RN2.30.

I say well done to Raven and the team and may they keep this trend to get better and better.
