Does it work okay ?

Post the .tpl file as an attachment.. spread the love !! lol

Other users might find it handy

In my experience, some people like modified cleaner things, and others want it standard... so in the past it is easier to leave files untouched, because people emailing and harassing me for the original file isn't much fun ! LMAO

I like it though... very nice clean and simple

Yes, it works fantasticly! In order to avoid putting a subject field in, I changed the code to insert the subject as "Quick Reply" when the message is posted.

Here it is.

Also, Ped - I noticed an issue with the toolbar panels when viewing your forum posting page in Internet Explorer. I had this exact same problem on my site as well, and although I am a firefox user, I decided to fix the problem for IE users regardless.

As you can see:

Image Has Been Resized, Click To Enlarge.

As you can see from the red circle, one of the black divider bars is shorter than the rest. The larger bars are essentially pushing the box to be taller than it needs to be, and it really shows on the bottom bar. The bottom bar is so tall that the background is bleeding over and showing a white strip underneath (shown by the green circle), and that doesn't look good at all.

So I fixed the problem by opening the posting_body.TPL file up in a web page editor such as Microsoft Expression Web, and literally just highlighted the shorter divider bar, copied it, then highlighted every other taller bar and pasted the smaller one, replacing them completely.

Another option of course if you dont have a visual web page editor, would be to alter the image hight manually in the code to match the smallest circled bar.

You can see in my picture what the modded toolbar looks like in IE after making those changes. These changes do not effect the way the toolbarsl ook in FireFox, so they now look great in both browsers!

Enjoy!
