Post Hall of shame module upload problem Posted: Sun Oct 26, 2008 9:48 pm

First off, great job on this mod, very happy to be able to list the cheaters we catch in our server. The problem we are having is that when we add a punk, the screenshots work fine but if we try to add a demo video, if its over approx 1MB, we get an error, demo upload failed. It takes a little while for this error to appear. Seems it is actually trying to upload the file. Also, with a wmv file of approx 1MB or less, it works fine. Our php.ini file did not contain the listing for upload_max_filesize so we added it and set it to 100M, this had no effect. Any ideas anybody? We are running Nuke Platinum 7.6.b.4. http://www.sfosquad.com/php/index.php

Try insted of uploading it via the downloads program, upload it to your downloads folderin your root directory and add the link manually. This I know for a fact works, it's how I do my larger downloads.

Also there is an option in the admin section of the module to expand the size of the upload, but rarely has it worked correctly for me.

7.6.b.4. is a good program....

Shop Purchases:
Enemy Territory Theme (Aviator) for PHP Nuke · Clan Roster 2.0 ·  · Modern Warfare 3 Xtreme Theme

also, check if your site has a php.ini file in the root of your site. Some web host companies automatically add one into your site, and sometimes in the script you will see limits in it, something like,

example:

file_uploads = On
upload_tmp_dir = A-FOLDER
upload_max_filesize = 1M

You would alter the upload_max_filesize = 1M to some other size like upload_max_filesize = 100M which should change it so its a max size of 100MB.

Note:

You should comment out the upload_tmp_dir = if you have it by putting a ; at the begining of it so it looks like this, ;upload_tmp_dir =

You could revine the module.
Contact your hosted company and ask them on how to import modules in and out..
Worked for me.
