Post How do i edit the text colour/size in news & stories ? Posted: Sat Oct 25, 2008 6:21 pm
Hi, i have looked from root flder for modules/news/index.php and tried to find where the text colour & font is as my whole site is based on 2 colours & sizes but when i do a story or news the font reverts back to normal. WHilst editing the news & stories i am unable to change this using the html option.
I also cant p align the title as in the picture below i tried <div align="center">***</div>
Does anyone know how i can edit the text please?

You need to edit your theme files.
The files are probably called story_home and story_index

Found it and changed font colour thanks!!!!
but wondered how i could get the title to "centre" in the above picture?
is it somethign within story_page.html aswell?
here is what it says

Open story_page.html and look for : $title
and put <center></center> around it.
That should do it.

Hi Uttergang..
ok i did that (well i guessed;)
so now it looks like this but it didnt work.. maybe i did it wrong?

i noticed the align="right" and also changed "right" to "center" but that didnt work :(

Got it!
Seems story_page.html & story_home.html both have to have it in!
they seem very similar and once i added
Code:
 <center>$title</center>
to the other one it works!!
