Hi,

just wondered what the "You can't access this file directly..." fix is to make this run on nuke-evo?

i've tried the fix:-

if (!defined('MODULE_FILE')) {
die ("You can't access this file directly...");
}

but then get another error

any ideas?

When you get the error: You can't access this file directly...
it means that the module name isn't defined, so the link has to be like this to access the file: modules.php?name=COD4
And you usally get a 500 error when there is an error in the file itself.

i took off the original 1 i dl'd and then uploaded your evo 1 from http://headshotdomain.net

activated the module, but unfortunately i now get this message:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

any ideas?

check to see if you have a .htaccess file in there, if so, remove it.

nah, theres no .htaccess file in there or and of the subfolders.

permissions o the folder are set to 755, could this be the problem?

that I don't think would throw you an internal 500 error. The only thing I would think that would be causeing that is an .htaccess file denying anyone from seeing it. but i doubt its that since I didn't throw in a .htaccess file and your the first that has reported this issue.

If you can, you can try contacting your service provider that is hosting the site and explain the issue and usually they can tell you the issue in a matter of a few min. If you can call them, thats the fastest response.

If anyone else has any idea's then throw them out.

Permission 755 I believe is a recommended CHMOD.
