hello guys im new here and im having some trouble instaling nuke evo i run the install.php which evan after ivw chmod them still showing up faild i still try to continue and get:

General Message
Config.php generation failed.

it says download config so i do that and upload it then it says go to home page and well this is what i get.Web Page Name

I had the same problem!

My Domain Provider installed Evo for me and said that the .htacces file was the big NO NO, messing up the install.
They got it working fine, after they deleted it.

But im a newbie myself, and have no clew to what that file does anyway...

So you beter wait for some Mod to come with advice m8... sry.

The .htaccess file contains stops from people viewing certain files. You can delete them and restart the install. But I do also recommend that you make backups. After the install is done, you should be able to put the backup .htaccess back on your site.

I go tthat error too. For the record I am very new to this as well. Since my site is new I simple created a new database and the problem went away. In my case i had old files in the DB. I do not know if that was the problem but it fixed my situation.
