k i did install on the plat 7.6.b5 the install went good i did the installer that went fine but when i goto the admin page or even the home page it just shows blank anyone have a idea why this doing that Confused

all files uploaded, not corrupted? config file correctly done?

Since you are on a new install, I do recommend using a bit more secured CMS then plat, I recommend either Evolution 2.0.7 or RavenNuke. This site is RavenNuke and on my site I run Nuke Evolution.

Platinum hasn't been hacked in a while nulifying the security issue. He needs to check and see if his host is running php4or php5. If it's php4 then he needs to use platinum since it's an older coded CMS and will run on php4 better and with fewer issues. The new EVO is written for php5 and will run properly where platinum will eviteably have some issues.

That's just my 2 cents worth.

Just had a guy here yesterday with his Platinum site hacked.

yea my clan site has been hacked a few times running plat B.5, like dreadedcorpse said use evolution or evan ravennuke much more secure and less headaches

Also, if his host is running php4, he should be able to contact them to upgrade it to php5.
