Post Fusion security blocking google users - how to change that? Posted: Tue Sep 23, 2008 8:02 am

I am running Phpnuke Platinum 7.6V4b5 with NukeSentinel and Fusion. Anytime I try to get to my site via Google I get redirected back with this message from Fusion:

"Your coming from a site that we don't like. So why dont we send you back!
Powered with Fusion"

Where do i find the option to allow access from google?

Sorry, I know this is probably very simple, but I have not worked with Fusion before.

Thanks,
Jason

Post Fusion security blocking google users - how to change that? Posted: Tue Sep 23, 2008 9:15 am

I am repling to my own post because I found the answer to my problem.

I was not aware that Google searches were associated with Microsoft in anyway, but if you take a look at the search URL string once you do a Google search you will see this:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rls=com.microsoft%3A*&q=[WHAT_YOU_SEARCHED_FOR]

This was news to me. Although once I saw this I remebered that by default Fusion had Microsoft listed as a 'Bad Rereffer'. My problem was solved by deleting Microsoft out of the 'Bad Rereffer' list in the Fusion control panel.

My site now does not give a Fusion message and redirect when accessed via Google.com.

Hope someone else can learn from my troubles.

Thanks,

Jason

Shop Purchases:
Enemy Territory Theme (Aviator) for PHP Nuke · Clan Roster 2.0 ·  · Modern Warfare 3 Xtreme Theme

Glad to hear. I personally never worked with fusion so I wouldn't know where to begin, so its appreciated that you replied to your post with the fix for other to possibly use in future problems.
