Teamspeak side block issue. Posted: Fri Sep 19, 2008 12:57 pm

Ok, just recently i have encountered a problem with my Teamspeak side block. The story goes like this. My ip is a sticky unless MY ISP makes renovations to their servers then my IP may of may not change.. well this was one of those times that it did and it coused issues at the website. Since the protector was activated to protect admins, once th IP changes it blocks me from going to my administration menu.

I finally was able to get back in the admin section but now its still protecting the previouse IP and MY Teamspeak, since it runs out of my home box, has now stopped functioning. since this was working perfectly before my IP changed it leads me to believe that the website/protector is still blocking the previous IP to any function in the site. I have looked every where in the database in the protector.. and i cant figure out how to get it back up and showing on the block. Keeps giving me an error message saying that it ddnt get the info.

I thought it was just the code so i transfered te block over to a dummy website to test it out. Works flawlessly.. so that just emphazises my belief that the protector has something to do with it. Is there a way to get this back running correctly. Hope some one out there can assist me and lead me into the right fix.

Have you looked in the .htaccess (Where Config.php is) for that I.P? If not have a look through it using notepad (use CTRL + F) and delete that I.P from the .htaccess then re-upload the .htaccess and overwrite the one on your server.

With the protector it not only add's the I.P to the database but also that file.
