I have friends at PBBans. I have been informed that there IS NO FIX for the streaming to and through hubs at PBBans or PunksBusted.

This is a security flaw that's been there for years. They have known about this and hoped that no one would find it. It's finally been found and exploited by hackers. They can ban and unban at will at any time, on any server that is streaming. They can remove themselves from the MBL & MBI all day long.

The reason it cannot be fixed is simple. The flaw found uses the same string code system that the hub uses to allow admins to stream. If they attempt to fix it, they end up shutting off the server from streaming. No work around, no fix, no use different port, so on and so forth.

Now that this issue has spread like wildfire, hackers are all over it. Servers that are streaming now are basically useless now. Any and all bans that came from PBBans and PunksBusted are in question. How does one know for sure that their ban is actual. Yes most bans are legit against players that have been nailed hacking the game or game content. Others, could very well have been done by someone on purpose. You just never know.

Although the system has been grossly compromised, streaming is still an effective tool against cheats and hacks. How long this will last I have no idea. PunkBuster themselves have to this day still refused to acknowledge any 3rd party tools such as PBBans & PunksBusted. They will NOT be coming to the aid or rescue for this calamity any time soon.

So for now, our servers are open to attack and infiltration at any time. Keep them streaming for now. If you see a ban message run across your scrolling server messages 2 or 3 times in quick succession, you can pretty much bet you've got a live one somewhere.

With a long history of anti cheat behind me, and current work ongoing, I've decided to design and build a player and server reporting system for the gaming community, GSP's and server admins. With this system you will be able to submit player and server violation directly into the system via GUI and also submit screen shots and PBSS. Once verified, these players reports will be send DIRECTLY to game makers and developers I have brought on board with me. They then can action that players game account at will.

Server reports ( after validation ) will be sent DIRECTLY to GSP's where the server is being hosted. These GSP's have agreed to check these reported servers and if found to be in violation, they will be asked to stop all illegal server activities or be shut down without warning and possibly loose all or any funds that have been paid thus far.

This system is for EVERYBODY to deploy across the spectrum at any time, as well as server admins and GSP's alike.

Use it !!! If we can't stop them, we can at least make a dent in their pocket each and every time.
