i cant add pictures to my new website template that has been uploaded

cant even see an option to add a picture or file in any of the menus

can someone help me please, seems like a very important basic function thats missing here or what ?

What version of phpnuke are you using ?

And are you implying you cant add images to your news articles or blocks ?

im a bit new to this non free phpnuke stuff

do i just need to buy phpnuke 8.1 and all my problems are solved ?

just because the latest version of nuke is v8.1 doesn't always mean that its going to be the best.

The best version was phpnuke 7.6 you can download a truly free unique modified version of v7.6 with over 10,000 fixes and security from http://ravenphpscripts.com/ in there downloads, currently at version 2.20.01 i think.

You wont get no problems with that version, and you will be able to use the standard text editor to easily add images.

I would suggest going to either RavenNuke or nuke Evolution for reasons that about 6 months ago, I had a hacker issue that was persistent and dedicated to hacking my site. I was running nuke 7.9 with patch 3.5, nuke sentinel. About a month ago, I finally converted my site over to Nuke Evolution. Though I have used and worked with RavenNuke, and I know they have a great system, I find that I don't like there CMS for several reasons, not anything major, just personal preferences. Also if you need support over at there site, seems that they like to talk in riddles and or cough up an attitude because you didn't spend the 3 hours using the search feature to find a question that is the same one as yours just labeled all wrong so its like finding a needle in a pile of needles.

Again, that might be personal preference, but that was my impression everytime I went there.

But like Ped said, upgrading to to a higher nuke is not always better, but you do have your option of 2 nice FREE systems, RavenNuke and Nuke Evolution which I and everyone that works here will say to upgrade to one of them.

awesome, thx heaps guys

like i said im a bit of a noob to this php thing

i have made some basic websites and moved stuff around on ftp, my clan was using a free phpnuke thing and i offered to get a kewl cod4 template and get it all working

lol now i have got it working i can see how green i really was.. i got a template but didnt have a php platform, and when i did get 8.1 i got it all ass about

anyway i cleaned off my ftp, installed 7.6 then my template and now were cooking
