New install of evo 2.0.7 Posted: Wed Jul 30, 2008 3:06 am

This is a brand new site install. Never had this before.

What is going on when everytime I go to install I get this:

CHMOD Required Files
.htaccess - is missing.

.staccess - is missing.

It is also worth noting that Evo comes with .htaccess and .staccess files in case you don't have your own. They are named evo.htaccess and evo.staccess in the root directory. You should read through the evo.htaccess and edit it as needed then save it as .htaccess. evo.staccess is used only for username and password storage and should be empty. You can rename it to .staccess. You will also need to set the file permissions on these files. (chmod) per the install documentation.
