Anyone know where a good audio/ video imbedding block would be? I have been searching around and so far have come up with nothing. I guess I could always imbed them in a webpage and then use an iframe to display them.

OK, here goes:

Audio Block:

1. Set a title for the block
2. Enter/ choose a catagory
3. Enter/ choose an artist
4. Enter a song name for display
5. Enter the file path for the song, which will link the display name to the imbedded audio

player
6. Enter/ choose an audio player for the song
7. Set path of the audio player
8. Choose to include a biography, which would place a biography link(This would open in a

block on the audio block page)

If yes then opens to next:

9. Add image (like of the band, etc.)
10. Add a link to the artists homepage
11. Add a text for a biography of the band.

The video portion would be much the same.

Basically, what I am wanting is something I can imbed audio or video in that gives me the options to add specific details about it and allow the source to get some recognition too. I dont want it to be downloadable from there. I would take care of that with the downloads section and point system. And, of course, it should be integrated to only allow logged member to use.

I have googled these and, quite honestly, what I have found is crap. They either want money or have some outragious means of adding them. There seems to be nothing good for nuke so far.

I could make iframes in custom blocks and play with the sizing so that it is good for certain display options. But, a module that could do this and make it good for theme sizing would be good.

I have been to at least 35 sites in the past 3 days to try to find what I need. The reason I ask here is because this site seems to be the most aimed at creation of the best nuke options. And, because the comm here seems to be the most decent about answering questions and requests.

EXAMPLE: I recently added a messenger mod to my site. I had some problems with how it worked after I did the installation by the letter or their instructions. There was a simple problem of the messenger not seeing the config file for the messenger. The admin of the site responded with "Hello, you didnt read the manual. Re-read it and try again!" Instead of telling me the answer (I simple needed to drop part of the file name to read xxxconfig.php) they were rude. I figured it out on my own and then they didnt even seem to care about me pointing out that the manual should more specifically point out what they need to mod the filename to (which IS NOT INCLUDED IN THEIR MANUAL). Point being, you guys would have just told me that I overlooked renamming the file. So, that being said, this is why I ask about this here.

I know this was a bit long-winded, but just had some points to make, lol.

It would be so that you could add individual music and video to your site. Like with mine, I have some bands that want to get their music out there. And they want people to know a little bit about them. I plan to put up music from all over the world from bands that have not yet made it, so they can get their music out there to be heard.

II can make an html page or two to show what the interface would be like. When I get them done I will message you so that you can take a look. I should probably have something made by late tonight (work is taking up all my day and evening).

Sorry, not going to be doing the html page. I am about halfway through a flash interface. Once I get that done, I will PM you about how to make it work for nuke. I mainly want to make it tie to the nuke user table so that only registered users can see or use it. Main reason being that people can always get around seeing things. But is harder to allow people to use unless they are registered and signed in.
