Hi,

This is my first post here so go easy one me ;)

I am responsible for the website that our Guild runs and this is what I would like to do, how possable it is I hope to find out from you guys.

We have had a site for world of warcraft for some time which was done im joomla, I have taken it down for the moment as there are some database problems I wont go into here. We are a causul buch of players and get on well, and some are moving to AOC and some sticking with wow or trying both.

After a lot of looking on the web at different themes/systems etc I have decided that PHPNuke is the best option for us and would like to do the following.

We have an establised phpBB3 forum, the contents of which I would like to keep, I have adapted it to work for both AOC and WOW with groups and user themes etc.

So my idea is to have a WOW /AOC theme as the defult theme with just the logos and a bit of a design that would work for both, then have installed a wow theme and a AOC theme that users can change to their personal taste. All themes would point to the same forum and idealy Nuke would get the member info from phpBB3.

Setting up the themes and the contents of the site is achievable by me bnut the joint theme and intergration of the phpBB member data etc isnt (I think).

So I guess I need to know if this is possable and would anyone be intrested in helping me create a theme or quote me for the work.

I think it can be done the other way round, nuke user and phpbb3 but not phpbb3 user with nuke, if you get what i mean..

Also a phpbb3 theme is nothing like a phpnuke theme so thats a big problem there.

Currently nuke isnt built to use anything other that phpbb2, i have seen a small hack so you can have phpnuke and link to a phpbb3 setup but not actually sitting inside the same theme, i may be wrong but i have never needed the need for phpbb3 forums yet. Dont Know

I have added the nuke and phpbb3 hack to the club

Shame about the phpBB3 to Nuke but you have given me some ideas which I will look into.

Also, dont know if you can help with this... The site I plan to do this project usues one database (remotly hosted) and that database handles 3 or 4 applications, Raid planner, phpBB3 rosta etc and those applications write a different table to the existing database, I assume Nuke is the same in as far as it will write its own table within the database and not wipe the whole database as it says somthing along the lines of all data will be deleted (cant remember the exact text) and I did wonder if that might be an issus. I use seperate DB with the hosting people I usualy use.
