Can I use PhP Nuke addons with Evo to see if they work, or can they cause permanent damage?

I can't seem to find vwar for Evo for instance or the side blocks for it.

Evo is just a next step in development for Nuke. Standard nuke addons such as blocks and modules should work for the most part with Evolution but not all will work due to some are ONLY ment to work with certain versions of nuke standard. So be careful when you add new addons and make sure you back files and databases up first.

The only way to know for sure is trial and error unfortunately. So backup your backups. Or if your like me, make backups of your backups backups.

Everyone ive known to use Vwar has been hacked. this was a while ago , maybe its safer now .. up to you i guess..

vWar is still unsecured. I have asked for an ETA on there latest version which has been fixed with all the fixes and what not, its still in RC right now, but still not done yet.

As for blocks and modules working for evo from the standard version of nuke. They will to an extent, you need to do some editing to them, they are all relatively easy to port over to work, but as is, I would guess that 95%+ will not work on evo.
