Post Problems with right blocks (RESOLVED) Posted: Sun Feb 25, 2007 11:55 pm
For some reason blocks on the right-hand side of my site are not showing up. I've checked in the admin part and it says that the blocks I want are active Sarcastic . Any ideas would be very welcome.

If you install a theme and it wont show you the right blocks try this fix.

Open up the theme.php of the theme you wish to fix.

FIND:
if ($index == 1) {

REPLACE WITH:
if (defined('INDEX_FILE') || ($index == 1)) {

This should fix your issue.

as standard instead of

if (defined('INDEX_FILE')) {

or

In the theme I use, I could add the right-hand blocks, but it throws the border graphics on that side off. I guess I could play around with the table positioning to fix it, Unless, of course, someone knows a better, easier fix. BTW, using PNC4_YELLOW at http://shixter.com

err what u done to it, if you want me to customize it just PM me, i still have all the source files for that theme..... somewhere Dont Know

Well if its a problem with a theme then dont worry about it guys. I'll be getting a new one of you this evening so that should solve it. Money will be paypal'd after my lecture (in 5 mins). We did move the theme to a different site so it probably messed up then. Cheers for the advice and I'll chat to you all later.
