Nuke Ladder is going to be the best 'Intergrated' system....
However, to appear as if it actually is a part of your website, there will need to be a lot of file editing..

Also note, its very limited in functionality as any added features you need such as ( GUID ) identification will have to be manually coded in to allow users to add a STEAM_ID or PB_GUID ....

Your better off finding a PHP Developer to work with you on editing an existing ladder_tourney script to intergrate to your needs.

You will not recieve help from me if i have to go digging for your CMS information and version, If i have to take the time to play 21 questions, then you can take the time to google! No Copyright, no support either!

Have you looked at tournamatch. It does not look to bad. Maybe you can get this guy to add the GUID into the project.

Thanks for your input there Bayler,,, really helpful info

I do have a programmer in my clan, but I'm not sure if she is familiar with this thing. I should ask her today.

I use Tournaments Pro from MajorPlaying, go to my site and click on the "Tournament" link and look around. If you like it I'll find the link for you and yes it requires registration from the majorplaying site for you to be able to download it.

Damn..i begin construction on a Ladder and League site...and now everyone wants to construct one...

My suggestion ( blackfox_us ) If you want to participate in the developement of a Ladder & League System, you join the operation of Clan-Themes Ladder ...

Because Clan-Themes is currently Constructing and operating a Ladder & League site...Support for competing systems will be 'Sparse' at best!
It kinda shoots ourselves in the foot to help others create systems to directly compete with our own!

Bayler, what I like about the Tournament Pro module is the bracket system it has. It makes it easy for the players to follow and see who is playing who. However the graphics are of lesser quality.

What I'd like to have or see in a Tournaments program:

-The management is a bit confusing at first but what I'l like to see is a split between team tournaments and individual tournaments. Also, a simple user/team posting. When a player wins a match I have to update it insted of them going into the program and posting. Currently I have to add everyone for them to have the ability to post the winner/loser.

-The score would be nice with options to place scores in either a single game win or the best 2 of 3 or 4 of 7, whichever.

-Easier to find Rules section.

-The tournaments have it's own page/ interface/ look (a webpage within a webpage type of look) and control panel

These are only a few things and food for thought

features are going to be limited to whatever is needed to operate both a ladder & league play

It was just food for thought.

I've ran a large number of tournaments in the past and am currently getting back into it. Those options along with a simple GUI will make tournaments a tad bit easier to handle. I don't believe in have 50 options as it is indeed an overkill. But there are some that do need to be in place to ease the pain of maintaining a tournament.
