The MSN Module/Block does not work in your club downloads. I downloaded it and installed it, the pages work but when it tries to bring back your hotmail email list it just brings back an error. I don't know what wrong with it but I thought this would of been a good block module to have. Has anyone else experienced problems with this on there website or does anyone have an idea of what is wrong with it?

Yeah its the MSN Invitation 1.0 module that in your club database. It sends a email to your contacts in msn inviting them to your website.
If you goto my home page you will see it in the modules list on the left saying msn invitation. When you put your email in and click fetch contacts it says.

"Failed to connect to server."

I dont know why though.

I am just gonna take a stab in dark and say msn changed something to keep that from working. Going to take a look, but prolly broken for life.

I think your right Floppy !

been alot of new msn version scine that block was made (lol no idea when the block was made hehe), they probably changed server or somehting along them lines.

His server admins could also block outgoing connections like that for security reasons. A handful of possibilities.

Is there anyway this could ever work again then? Like changing the server settings to the new 1 or whatever? Or is it impossible to make this work?

You sure it's the right 1 Doc? I have it on my website www.myps3online.co.uk look in the modules and it doesnt work Sleepy(
did you just add the block file to blocks? That all there was with it.

Anyone got any new information about this yet? It's still in the club downloads but doesnt work, any way of connecting it to the new msn server to bring it back to life lol
