Clan Roster 2.0 · Bad Company 2 Vietnam Xtreme Theme

no point..

When ever some one clicks a new page (link) the music starts from the beginning again.. so it gets very annoying after all of 3-4 clicks

Not unless he follows what noto help out on the pure madonna site that time. Im sure if you ask him nicely he would be more than glad to help. Just search the froum for the thread regarding the pure madonna site. You will need xspf player for a start just search google for it then once installed follow the instruction on said thread.

Yeh i probably have to agree, i must admit i tried this out about 2 weeks ago and found my users diddent really like music forced through there speakers or headset so i removed it. I think the best way is to do what they have done here and add i think is the wimpy player (correct me if im wrong ?) that way you can put a link on site and your users then have the opertunity to play it if they desire.

Yeah Stevie it's Wimpy player and its excellent because you can set it to open in a pop up window so you can surf the site or even go off site and still have it playing in the background...

Also you can add folder to the music directory and sort your music by clan member name or genre.

Like so:

music/member name one
music/member name two

or

music/ambient
music/rock

Check this out:

He is looking for a flash header that play's music unless you turn it off, I don't know if he wasn't the little animation to it, as in a splash screen, but basically its a flash header that loops music and you have the option to turn it off. I find those to be really annoying.

but you also have to know that the site he is talking about is a flash website, so it probably wont work the same way...

I have something simmular to what DoC is talking about on my website, its not the same player, I also edited the block so when you click on the button below the music player, it will open in a different window so you can listen to my line up while surfing through the site. You basically can do what i did with any music player, I just liked the look of the one I am using.

Hi...i'm new here. It's very interesting & useful to know further about this. Would you explain further, if you don't mind.

well explaining it depends on what your buidling it on...

if its a basic html splash page or php header...then one can use HTML code to play a sound file ( Most Formats )....

if your building it to a flash file, then you will be required to use a 'FLA' editor to write the action script to play a sound file...

on top of that, if your wanting features like say ( Skip Intro ) or ( Mute Sound ) but without redirecting away from the splash page or reloading the header..it requires even more scripting..

so..to explain in detail..one would first have to provide the goal of what one is trying to achieve as well as what format they are building on.

You will not recieve help from me if i have to go digging for your CMS information and version, If i have to take the time to play 21 questions, then you can take the time to google! No Copyright, no support either!
