Call Of Duty 4 Technical Theme

Was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a block
that will allow me to have a large image in the center such as on this theme below.

I'm not sure if this is theme dependant or will work on any theme?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks :)

Shop Purchases:
Battlefield 2 Theme (Aviator V2) · Battlefield 2142 (Aviator v2) · Arnhem Multi Gaming Theme · Call of Duty 4 Ultimate Theme · Multi Gaming (Warrior) Theme · Topsites Manager V1 PhpNuke Module · Clan Roster v1.7 Php Nuke Module · Frontlines Fuel Of War Theme · Anzio Multi Gaming Theme · Left for Dead L4D PhpNuke Evo Theme · Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Theme · Clan Roster 2.0 · Call of Duty Black Ops Xtreme Theme

You can make one your self very easy. all you need to do is find an image you like upload it to ure ftp say images folder then go into your ACP click blocks then just create new block, depending on wich version of Nuke your using just goto source or html editor and insert the image link ie

<img src="http://www.tfu-clan.co.uk/images/walker.gif">

Make sure you then make block for center then jobs a goodun :)

Hi Stevie,
Thanks for the reply.
I have made the new block and that shows up no problem at all.
Im now having an issue with the image not being displayed.
I went into blocks and created the new block, then i go to add the link to the
image via the html source editor.
I can then see the image in the text box, yet when i save the block it just shows
as blank.
In blocks admin it shows as html but when i go in to edit the block there is no code at all
in there.
The image paths are valid as i created a test image and uploaded it and even tried with
your image link as well but to no avail.
Any ideas ?

What php nuke you using? because if its what I suspect it is then your problem is maybe 7.9....... if it is then Goto your config.php

find
Quote:
$AllowableHTML = array("b"=>1,"i"=>1,"strike"=>1,"div"=>2,"u"=>1,"a"=>2,"em"=>1,"br"=>1,"strong"=>1,"blockquote"=>1,"tt"=>1,"li"=>1,"ol"=>1,"ul"=>1);

And replace with
Quote:
$AllowableHTML = array("b"=>1,"i"=>1,"strike"=>1,"img"=>2,"color"=>2,"div"=>2,"u"=>1,"a"=>2,"em"=>1,"br"=>1,"strong"=>1,"blockquote"=>1,"tt"=>1,"li"=>1,"ol"=>1,"ul"=>1);

Just to be on safe side make back up of config.php before you reupload.
If thats not it im sure someone will quote me wrong ;)

Hi Stevie yes it is 7.9.
I tried the code below but it totally killed the site.
All i could see when trying to access the site was all of the code from the
config.php file displayed on the screen.
Even when i tried to upload the original unaltered config file it made no difference
and still showed the same code on the screen..which seems odd.
I tried this about 4 times using various different editors notepad, worpad,
ultraedit and dreamweaver but get the same results each time.
(each time i used a different editor it was also a fresh install of phpnuke
as i'm installing it from fantastico, so as to rule out editing program issues.)

Essentially all that needs to be done is "img"=>2, has to be inserted into the allowable html. Did you upload the original config file or did you create a back up of the file that was on server ? if you reuploaded original then you would of have to enter your database details into it again.

I probably did'nt phrase that very well lol
I basically downloaded the config file from the nuke that was
already installed and up and running.
I then made a copy of this and altered it and then uploaded it.
It screwed the nuke over so i figured i would just upload the original
backup and all would be well..but no it made no difference at all.
Basically what it seemed to have done is made the browser read it as
a text file, so as all of the details from the config.php were on show.

does the file still have the .php extension after the name?

or does it just say config?

or config.txt

if so just rename to config.php

check the top of the document too to make sure the php opening tag is still there.

The only reason I say this is because earlier you stated

What would be the safest editor to use ..ultraedit ?

Stevie as a matter of interest what version of PHPNuke allows you
to add the images like i want, straight out of the packet without any
code alteration?

Best one for me mate is Dreamweaver set up for Coders.

Best Nuke Distro: Ravens Distro. -> http://ravenphpscripts.com/

if you wanted to add an image with ravens you would not be having as many problems as I think you are having as in the upcoming release (2.20) there are 15,000 code fixes, updates and security patches etc.

When it comes to the blocks in ravens distro all you would need to put is:
Code:
 <div align="center"><img height="90" width="469" alt="" src="/images/Merry Christmas.jpg" /></div>

Ravens does not strip HTML from custom blocks.

Raven Nuke 2.10.01 ..........ftw (for the win)

Easy to install and has a very nice extras, runs smooth and is very secure more so than PHPNuke 7.9 ect
And for editing as Doc says, Dreamweaver is very user friendly in my mind, so the best to use.

I installed it on boxing day as i had nothing else to do :) and within that time this is what i have come up with Clicky Here
